Gaia midi problem [solved]

Post by Striple »

Hi, wondering if anyone knows a solution for me.
I have my Juno-G sending midi to the Gaia using midi channel 4.
I play and record on the Juno, channel 4, and it plays back the gaia. All good.
But if I move to any other midi channel on the juno, it will play a piano from the gaia. Unless I select channel 10, in which case I get drums from the gaia! (didn't know it had drums lol).
This means if I want the juno to sound other instruments on other channels, i get that instrument plus the gaia playing piano!
I can't mute the gaia because I want to be hearing it play the recording I've made on channel 4.
It's nothing to do with the juno being keyboard on/off, and I've messed with the midi functions on the gaia, but can't find how to turn this piano sound off.
Any help would be appreciated as this is holding me up from getting on with things.
TIA
