A-800 pro memory

Is it possible to save midi controller assignments directly to A-800 memory? Mine seems to lose assignments upon power down, and I was wondering if the info could be saved without using editor.

I think that you definitely need a computer to program the A-800PRO. If you want to program a 5 octave Roland MIDI keyboard controller without a computer, I recommend the Edirol (by Roland) PCR-800.
