E-A7 (EA7) style composer - part that ignores arranger?

Post by Kapitany »

Hi there!

Do you know any workaround to create accomp. parts in the style composer that ignore the arranger? That plays the same, not following the chords?

I'm using the style composer as a sequencer, and my workaround is to record the parts with chord changes, and then put the split to the lowest key and the arranger mode to Pianist, so that way the arranger remains at the same, initial C chord. But what if I'd like to create styles that follow the arranger but contain a part or two that should play the same thing for all the chords? Any ideas?

Thanks,

Not possible. Recently purchased an E-A7 and tried it as well.

Best trick is to use either pads or accomp. (like you said selecti Pianist mode) and don't do chords on the left side, just bass or leads.

I think if you want chords on the left side maybe these should be programmed as accom (2,3 etc..)
