I saw in the XV-5080 home page, a review of the L-CDX series. I saw many negative opinions, specially in the L-CDX-04 (Strings and Orchestral percussion).
I have in my PC, the demo of this library, but I could indentify some traces of the Best Service's "Advanced Orchestra", and some samples from the "Orchestral Colors".
Does anyone have an opinion about these libraries? Did anyone have one Roland's CD?
I'm interested in the L-CDX-04 and L-CDX-03.
Thanks in advance for some tips.

L-CDX Series
Re: L-CDX Series
you should try to get the OLD L-CD702 orchestral
family cd-roms (2cd`s). I`m using them with my xv-5080 and
imho they are GREAT !!!! these are the original sound-sample
sources for the jv-orch1 borad. I love those lush string patches and celli and there is an unbelievable good r&b brass section (I`m also using this live) on the second cd (I think it was an original s7xx performance, where several sax/trumpet/horn samples are layered...) they are still used by some major film composers.
here is a link for more information:

p.s.:importing s7xx & akai samples works like a charm with the xv 5080...
