RD 150 disassembly

Post by Tottersman »

I hope that this is the correct forum for my question. If you think it should be posted elsewhere instead/as well, please tell me. I have a broken note on my RD 150 and so need to open it. I can't find any specific instructions or videos, so is anyone able either to describe what I need to do or to point me in the right direction for online advice? Many thanks, Jeremy

Hi Jeremy,

Not sure if you got this over the line but from the looks of the images here https://syntaur.com/keys.php?key=K43U it seems like you need to push the clip that the key pivots on, towards the front of the keyboard to disengage it from the rear (blue circle)

Pop a small blade screw driver in, gently lift the rear of the key up while applying pressure to the tag in the direction of the red arrow. This should disengage the pivot and allow you to lift the key it out and forward. Reinstallation should be the same in reverse.

If you can post a picture I'm sure it will become clearer :)
