Expression pedal: Turn off for 1 Part of a Performance??

Postby AaronPDX1 » 02:23, 8 November 2017

In System settings the control pedal is set for EXPRESSION.

I thought by disabling the EX parameter in Performance Edit for one part, I could disable the pedal affecting that part. No dice. I even tried turning off ALL the MIDI parameters for the part (as described on p 20 of Parameter Guide) and I still get modulation when I hold down the control pedal.

Is there somewhere else I need to disable this, or is this a bug?

For the curious reader, it turns out this is controlled via Matrix control settings within the patch.

Well, as it turns out the Matrix control doesn't turn it off for every patch. I'm not sure why the Wurly patch i'm using still is getting modulation from the pedal, when i've turned off all the matrix controls... Anyone?

Thanks for your reply, Frank. I'll have to look into this a little later and will report back.
