DS and ASIO

Post by mcaparula@gmail.com »

Hello. I'm new here, and, hopefully, a question with a simple answer: When I have my Juno DS hooked up to Cakewalk (Win10) and I'm using ASIO, the Juno DS input device is grayed out, so I cannot pass audio from the DS to the DAW, only MIDI. Now, if I switch to MME, then I can pass audio through (not grayed out), but I really don't want to work with MME. Suggestions? Thank you.

Tell us how the Juno is hooked up to the win10 computer. Personally I use a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface, and I've had no problems with it.

interesting I tried using cakewalk and had no sound. I'm guessing because I have ASIO selected too.

Mine was OK on both Audio Track or Midi Track, just that when I want to use DAW Control on my DS88 to record, or playback or anything at all, it won't work.
