Using sysex to change current part

Hey everyone,

I just got JUNO-DS 76 recently and it's been fantastic. I'm playing along with some backing tracks I've made on Reaper and I'm trying to change my currently selected Part within Performance Mode via Reaper over sysex messages. I've been able to enable other parts using the commands from this post (viewtopic.php?t=54478) but the issue is that the currently selected patch from the keyboard is still enabled (in other words, if I push the pad for Part 1 and turn off Part 1 via sysex, the sound won't be disabled).

Has anyone been able to successfully change the Part via sysex as if you were pushing the pad on the keyboard? I tried the "Solo Part Select" message from the MIDI Implementation but that didn't quite do what I needed as it only plays selected patches regardless of solo status. Thanks in advance!
