OK so I got my new DS, listened to some of the patches and then tried some patches from the Axial site (just sent them to the DS, never wrote them into the userbank), then I found that the userbank was empty (all patches are INIT PATCHes), I though it was because I tried the patches from Axial, and so I posted: viewtopic.php?f=60&t=53242,
but then I realised that the userbank maybe was empty from the start, so can anyone here confirm if the userbank is empty when the synth comes from factory or not?

it is empty - it is for the user to decide what to put in it. Just remember that if you change the AXIAL expansion, the DS will remove the previous sounds and add new ones. So if you used eg EXP-1 sounds in some pattern, when you switch to EXP-2, the previous sounds will mute, as they dissapear.
