Tracking DS sounds as MIDI via USB?

Postby Supersonic60 » 19:52, 18 March 2017

Hi guys, how's it going?

So I've figured out how to use the JUNO-DS as a MIDI keyboard to use VST synths, but i'm wondering if it's at all possible to record sounds from the DS as MIDI blocks via the USB port connected to my laptop as opposed to recording an audio track using the audio outs?

Cheers!

It's my understanding that the USB functions also as a MIDI interface with the computer to allow MIDI send/receive... Haven't tried it with sequencer software yet, but it did work to communicate with the Librarian software.
