Does anybody know how to synchronize the pattern start with the press of a key, rather than having to press the "play" button?

It would be useful to start a live performance i imagine.

How you could do it with a key is unknown to me.
But you can hook up a pedal into the Pedal control plug and set it (somewhere in "System settings") to use as a Start switch. (page 33 in the Parameter guide)
