Anyone know if it's possible to use a standard sustain (hold) pedal, in either of the 2 pedal jacks, to control an expression value, ie pitch modulation? If so, what values do I need to change systemwide?
Thanks,
Aaron
Hold pedal as expression pedal?
Re: Hold pedal as expression pedal?
Roland's reply:
" It is possible to use a sustain pedal for other functions (using the Control Pedal input). Most normal sustain pedals will only give you 2 values - 0 (off) or 127 (on), but if you use our DP-10 continuous control pedal, you can even have it sweep through values as you stop down on the pedal. You can see the full list of possible settings for the pedal on page 33 of the Parameter Guide for the Juno-DS."
I ended up getting a Roland EV-5 pedal which works quite well for triggering modulation.
