Juno DS Fast/Slow Rotary Control...

Post by Stillearning »

... Using a footswitch?

Hi! First time poster here. Been a member of other fora, but just joined here today. I'm an old guy (60's), retired, and teach part time at the School of Rock.

The SOR I teach at just bought a Juno DS. I'm no stranger to various manufacturer's keys and their often non-intuitive interfaces. Looking at the manual, and the online tutorial guide, I cannot find a way, (other than pushing forward on the joystick), to change the rotary effect from slow to fast. Am I being the fool, or is there no way to accomplish this other than holding the joystick? Seems less than ideal for live performance, especially given the many other controllable functions of this board. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Of course you can. Attach a suitable pedal to the "Pedal control" input, and then check page 33 of the Parameter guide (free download on Roland site) to see what you have to assign to that pedal input (in the Menu-->System-->Pedal screen)
