Can I "record" internally through the Ext Input

Post by Roro106 »

Hi all,

I am looking forward to purchase a DS61. Space is very limited here and I want to buy a synth with a looper that would allow me to record and loop some guitar parts over my synths/drums.

Is it possible to route the ext input to the integrated looper/sequencer ?

Many thanks for your help

It can't be done, as far as I know.

Man that's too bad, I came here to ask the same question. You CAN record through the input mic and edit/loop/mix with that though, right? Hopefully the ability to record from line-in comes on a firmware udpate...

You can't rec/loop sound from the keyboard's input jack, as far as I know. It's just to be used for backing tracks in live performances, or to record an external sound source into your DAW without using an external audio interface.
