I am using an IPad with SetList Maker software for live performance.
All songs are saved on it with MIDI settings and original songs as mp3.
The IPad is connected to the "external in" on the DS76, I use InEars connected to the "Headphone out" for monitoring.
As I have to play many (new) songs it would be very helpfull, if I could play the songs mp3 file on my IPad for a few seconds to be sure how to start the song. This should not go over the Main Output (L / R), only over my InEar connected to the "Headphone Out".
I did not find any settings for that in the documentation - but perhaps someone had similar problems and found a solution for this?!
Many thanks in advance
greetings

Output Assign possible?

Re: Output Assign possible?
You can't send different signals to the main outs and headphone outs of the Juno DS. You could instead use a simple switching box like the one at https://amzn.to/3JApBN1 (with the appropriate cables/adapters)... you'd connect the Roland's headphone out and the iPad's audio out to the box, and also plug your headphones into the box, and then switch between which of the two sources you want to hear at any given time. That should work unless you have the audio of the iPad going into the Roland's external input for some additional purpose, where you DO want the iPad's audio to come out of the Roland's main outputs as well.

Best advice is to get a personal mixer, like this one:
https://www.amazon.com/mezclas-Mackie-c ... 05&sr=8-11
That way you can do what you want in a couple of ways:
a) You can turn down your mixer's master volume so you can hear only with your inears connected to the mixer's phone output (this is what I do actually)
b) If you are going mono to the PA, you can connect your inears to the right channel of your mixer's master output, and use the Pan knob to control where are you sending your output (Center: PA + Monitoring, Right: Monitoring)
