Well...the s8 is a mighty machine indeed, but I decided to leave it for now.

@Julio, the JD-Xi is really a lotta fun!
Just need to learn how to change the MIDI channels and disable them to output data whenever I don't want it :)
I'm going to explore it and maybe buy a DS-61 to replace my beloved fantom XA that I was forced to sell a few years ago. I really miss the Fantom...

Can't recall if you can disable the Tx, but I do know that those MIDI channels (D1 on 1, D2 on 2, Analog on 3, Drums on 10) are hardcoded, and can't be changed.
