Patch Dump over MIDI?

Anyone found a way to get a MIDI dump of patch settings on the 8 yet? On the System-1, if you press MANUAL for about 2-3 secs all the current patch settings get sent over MIDI, so I thought I'd try it on the 8 but nothing is transmitted. Tried a few other button combinations as well but still nothing.

Short of using shift to view all the settings and writing them down, the only other way I can see to do it is export all the patches to the SD card and copying the files off onto the PC.

I also tried using the System-1 librarian but that doesn't see the 8 as being connected. Not bothered if Roland do a VST version of the 8 but a librarian WBRN. Think I'll put in a request for that. Wouldn't think it would take them much effort to re-engineer the exisiting code they have for the other VSTs, but then I'm not a programmer, so WWIK!
