System-8 and MX-1 via usb host... channels?

Hi!

I was wondering about using the System-8 with the MX-1 usb input - does the different plug-out synths get separate channels? This could be useful in performance mode. Also, what if you plug the System-8 into your daw with usb? 1 channel for all synths or separate?

Dont have an Mx-1, but if you connect the S8 to a DAW, you have 2 channels when in performance mode: 1 for each part. When in patch or manual mode, you only have 1 sound so also only 1 channel. Regardless of which plug out you have active.
