Appropriate amp?

Post by bbdowns »

Which is a good amp to use for any keyboard regardless of whether it's a synth or music workstation? I presently own a Roland Cube 40GX (8"spkr), a Peavey Vypr 3 (12" spkr), Peavey Bandit (12"spkr), and a Fender Rumble 100 bass amp (15"spkr). Any suggestions are more than welcome.

For keyboards you need an FRFR amp - full range, flat response. Roland do an extensive range in mono and stereo.

Another alternative would be a small P.A. amp with full range speakers.

I'm a big fan of the Roland KC-550 for all things synth-related.
