Thinking of Buying

Post by DEVO-UK »

Hi Guys

I currently use a lot of JP-08 boutique patches for live work with a midi controller, but the boutique range are not the best with regard to have at a gig, so an option would be to upgrade to the System 8. Is there a noticeable different in sound quality from the system 8 (Jupiter 8 patches) or is is basically the same sounds?

Any other advice/suggestions to persuade me to upgrade would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Jp08 = 4 voice @ 44khz
System 8 = 8 voice @ 96khz

Yep it sounds better, plus the Juno 106 and System 8 thrown in and you don't need Donald Trump hands to use it.....

Yes, the S-8's JP-8 plugin is much better than the boutique JP-08.

The Donald's hands seem quite large to me, albeit a little cold and clammy.

Hey wombat! Great to see you around again :) Maybe he needs larger hands for the bigger button he has ;)
