Problems splitting parts in 'Performance' mode

Hi,

I'm having a real headache trying to split the two parts in Performance mode. I've read, re-read and re-read the reference manual as well as going through a step by step guide that someone very kindly posted in this forum. I'm certain I'm doing everything correctly but nothing changes when I'm setting the key ranges for each part - they both just play across the whole board. I'm definitely in 'Dual' mode. Anybody have any idea as to what I might be missing?

This is driving me crazy. I set the LOWER part lower range at C2 and the upper range at C#3. I set the UPPER part lower range at D3 and its upper range at C6. I still hear both sounds across the whole board. Every variation of ranges I've tried just gives me identical copies on both parts, either full range or just an octave with both parts in the same key range - not the simple split I'm looking for. I'm really hoping to get this sussed for a gig tomorrow. Anyone with any clues they can give me as to where I'm going wrong?

I don't even like the stupid Sean Paul tune I need the split for! 😅
