SYstem8 broken, menu values changing on their own

Ive had my System8 for years and noticed that the value of the knobs on the menu display screen are changing on their own. in the beginning it was maybe only 1 say the AMP level knob and i would just have to fiddle with the knob and it would stop changing the value on its own. now half the knobs are spazzing out. the values on the menu screen are changing so much that its not even playable with all the knob values changing and ruining the sound. anyone know why this is happening?

Did you manage to resolve this issue? I'm having the same problem at the moment.
