Editing Roland Cloud w System 8

I downloaded the most recent driver for iOS 12. Currently, my system-8 is working correctly as an audio interface and as a midi controller. But when I open up a Roland plug out synthesizer in my DAW And click on the plug out button so that I can edit it from the system-8 I get an error message that something is not connected correctly. What else is left to connect?
