System-8 weird connectivity no play

I was having some communication problems pertaining to USB midi:

if said / any DAW software is currently in play while the S8 is connected, It has stopped responding the keys directly on the unit or via midi.
This is temporary, as soon as you stop the transport on the DAW, either midi or directly on the keys, will work again.


Remote program change for patch and bank have mysteriously stopped working as well.

I have read that other people have this problem. I have spent many hours formatting reinstalling the 1.32, system reset re-populating plugouts.

Is there a virus out there for the S8? Or are these units is randomly defective and are deteriorating overtime? Is this, this generations red glue? No please say no.
