Uploading files Axial \ EXP ... how?

We're supposedly allowed to download Axial files to Bank A \ B ... EXP on the RD 2000.

I've unzipped a file from Axial, placed the unzipped files at root level on a USB stick formatted on the RD 2000 ... and now what do I do? There's extremely little information on this feature.

Has anyone succeeded in installing any files from Axial onto the RD 2000?

If you have, I'd like to know how it's done. The only screen message I see on the RD 2000 when accessing the USB drive with those unzipped files is ... EXP No Media.

The Axial site is also not very helpful.

Yes,

I have added them to the slots on my RD2000 and they are nice additions. I think you are on the right track but are probably using the wrong USB port. I don’t know why but you don’t use the update port that has the protective port plug, you use the regular USB port that would normally be used for recording. It should work fine.

Good Luck!

When you unzip the Axial file, there will be a PDF file in the resulting directory that has all the information you need on the Axial file, including a Patch listing and how to load.

I thought Id add to this - rather than start a new thread.

I cant get my RD into the load screen (power up pressing enter). When I do this the EXP load screen shows for maybe 1/10th of a second - then it just goes into normal operation mode.

I have previsouly loaded bacnks - 01 and 02 when I bough the RD, then 05 and 06 after 1.5 firmware update. I want to try EXP 04 - but cant get it the load screen.

Any ideas hers?

You can use same steps for all expansions.

Also you can check out many video tutorials. They made it easy. This has helped me a lot.
