Rhythm questions RD88 (synchrostart and tempo)

How can I synchrostart a rhythm with my Roland RD88? and How can I prefend the rhythm from turning back to the 120 beats/min after selecting a different scene?

I've not found a way to synchrostart yet, but can't admit to trying too hard to find it.

It's possible 120 is the "default" tempo, as I believe I've saved other tempos in some scenes; and it likely resorts to the default when changing to a scene which has no tempo saved in it.

Mine remembers the tempo of the Rhythm when you save a scene but doesn't remember the pattern
Does yours?
