Playing my RD-88 this morning and all of a sudden the sound was distorted? The piano sounded like it was detuned with echo and distortion. A kinda low-fi out of tune sound. All the voices were messed up (Piano to Other). This came through the speakers and head phones. I don't have external speakers to test it but I'd imagine they're the same as the headphones.
One caveat is that it comes in and out. The sound is normal and then messed up sound can come in. Right now it is normal and playing as it should.
Any ideas? Humidity?

That hasn't happened to my RD-88...
If you haven't done much custom programming on it, then a "factory reset" and update to the latest firmware would be my first steps.

I did a factory reset and it didn't resolve the issue. A firmware update? I'll try it if I can figure out how to do it.
I haven't programmed anything.
So, basically now Piano, E. Piano and Synth seem to work. All the other options have issues. It's a distorted percussive sound if that makes any sense to anyone?
