CTRLR Panel for RD88

Post by vcfvca »

If anyone on this forum uses CTRLR I have been working on an RD88 panel for a few months now. I've still got to finish all the sound banks (over 3000 sounds) and the MFX for each zone. There are 2 panels the other one is for Scene Chorus and Reverb. Just wondering if there is much interest in this?
You can recall and edit scenes and rename them if you want. It's a work in progress but quite useful even though it not finished.
Here's what it looks like:

Just done a big update - everything accessible from 1 panel. I will post the stand alone editors for Mac and PC in a few days. Just finishing the EQ update routines and tone lists. I'm only going up to Bank E - that's about 2000 tones.

The editor updates all controls on patch change and you can rename a patch and send it to the RD88. Also added some simple keyboard macros so you can create splits and layers with a simple click. The onscreen keyboards are just used for setting Hi and Lo Key for splits and layers.

Here are the download links for both versions. These are standalone apps and do not require CTRLR to be installed.

This looks just what I have been looking for.
I need something to easily create layers and spits and store them.
The UI on the RD88 is sadly lacking for the capabilities of the sound engine inside it.
I will give this a try over the next weeks as I would like to use RD88 at our next gig in Dec and need to program a number of patches for it for our set

You have obviously spent many many hours working on this. - Thank you so much

Kind regards
