This is a question about pops and clicks in the Juno 106 Plugin.
First off, my DAW is perfectly capable of running the plugins. (It's an Alienware machine with more than enough CPU Power/Ram, ect..)
I also have no other problem, with any other plugin, Roland or otherwise.
They are cpu hogs, however they work fine and sound amazing.
What happens is that every time I use the chorus on the 106 plugin, I hear tiny pops and clicks, like you'd hear on a vinyl record.
If I take a preset, like Juno Soft Pad.. the pops show up. Long, sustaining notes and chords with the chorus on, and they show up. If I turn the chorus off.. they disappear.
This happens with only the one plugin and CPU usage is at 12%.
Does ANYONE have this problem?

What's the version number on your Juno-106 plug-in? You can find it by clicking on the "About" button in the plug-in UI.

Re: 106 Chorus creating pop and clicks.
the noise is coming from the modelled juno chorus, the real one is noisey too.
If you look closely you will see it pan left and right in your levelmeter on the track it is loaded in

On top of Juno 106 there is a knob called 'CONDITION'. Try to rotate it.

Re: 106 Chorus creating pop and clicks.
It’s the only Roland plugin i can’t use at all, awful pops and clicks and this isn’t the original juno chorus modelling I had the System 8 and the modelling was more noisey than pops and clicks. I turn to the VERY cheap TAL-U NO-LX plugin instead at £40 for a perfect Juno 60 plugin it does what i needed the 106 to do. I’ve tried removing and re-installing latest version de-selecting the CPU option to reduce cpu utilisation but doesn’t make a difference. A friend of mine his does the same we both use Logic so not sure if the DAW host has anything to do with this particular plugin.
Re: 106 Chorus creating pop and clicks.
Sorry for the late reply.
I'm trying to sample into my Kronos, so I'm trying to get a clean sound. (with THAT Juno Chorus)
I'm using the latest 1.04
The "condition" knob is in the center (not sure if "+" adds "condition" or makes it sound like new.)
I've tried 2 hosts, Ableton 10, and Studio One.
Same problem.
With the Chorus on:
Any sustaining, soft notes and you will hear very soft clicks or pops.
I don't have a real Juno 106, I do however have a Super JX-10 and Alpha Juno-2.
The JX-10 Chorus is noisy but does not pop or click.. more like static.
The pops and clicks are easy enough to hear in headphones, so If I'm one of few that hear them, then it might be something on my end.

I can also hear it on held notes in Juno Soft Pad. There's the constant Juno Chorus Hiss, but then very intermittent soft pops or clicks.

I have the same issue on my system, using Sonar platinum as a DAW, but it also clicks and pops in other environments, it's not a cpu issue but the sounds are the same like when you have your buffer set too low (clicks and pops).
