RE: Vocoder? (Jupiter X Newbie)

Post by monsterjazzlicks »

HI folks,

I am extremely new to the Jupiter X (having only unboxed it last week!).

I wanted to ask some 'Vocoder' related questions, please. Would this be the correct forum to post my thread?

Many thanks,

There is the Jupiter X section which might get you an answer quicker.

Thanks Jon,

Well the question is related to purchasing (ie. choosing the most suitable option) 'Vocal Designer', and also storing/usage on the Jupiter X itself.

Cheers,

Hi,

Was anyone utilized the Vocoder facility on the Jupiter X as yet, please? There are a good few You Tube demos (but no really go into too much depth).

I believe there are a total of 2 Vocoder presets shipped with the JP-X. Do users feel these are adequate for their needs? I ask because there is a Roland Vocal Designer expansion available. I wondered if anyone has had any first hand experience with this package. There are 90 presets within the package.

Your thoughts would be appreciated!

Cheers,

Paul
