hardware System 8 owner question

Hello,

I own a System 8 since a few months now and an ultimate Roland cloud subscription since a few years.
Today I bought the new "Analog Polysynth collection" bundle so I could transfer at any time any of these 5 (Analog Polysynth collection) synth to my System 8 hardware via the System 8 plugout software from the Roland cloud.

The thing is that I was already owning a licence key for the Juno 106 that I bough 2 years ago as a special offer with several presets packs and according to the roland support, any previously acquiered lifetime licence is "overwritten" (and therfore lost) by the lifetime licences contained in the "Analog Polysynth collection" bundle. :((

So my question is :
- As I already own the System 8 hardware , could it be possible to get a discount price /voucher please in order to BUY a lifetime key for the System 8 software from the Roland cloud at a good price (So I could continue to use it to transfer any plugout I have the licence for even if one day I stop my Roland cloud subscription) ?

many thanks in advance for your understanding.

Eric

Hi, Eric. Brian from Roland Cloud here. Thanks for picking up the SYSTEM-8!

To answer your question, the JUNO-106 Fully Loaded & Analog Polysynth bundles that you purchased do have the JUNO-106 in common, but we do not specifically offer vouchers for a discount in the case that you intend on purchasing both.

I did notice, however, that you have an Ultimate account, which allows you to download the SYSTEM-8 VST. As long as you do not uninstall the SYSTEM-8 VST, it will function as a librarian for your patches and Plug-Outs, even if you are in "Demo Mode" or do not have an active Roland Cloud account. Thanks! 😊

Hello Brian,

thanks a lot for your answer and the confirmation that it will continue to work if one day I am stopping my RC subscription.
It is a pity that it was not possible to take in account the fact that I had already bought the Juno 106 in the price of the new "Analog Polysynth collection" bundle....

I have then a small suggestion for your Roland Cloud web site developers in order to improve things a bit / make things clearer :

Could it be possible to list in our Roland Cloud customer web page all life time keys of synths we OWN please ?
I can see only 2 synth listed there (that I can delete to choose other ones if needed) coming from the "Play4life offer" last year but I do not see the list of the VST synths bought in bundles/special offers and it would be great to see all of the synth I own listed in my RC customer WEB PAGE when I am opening it from another device (e.g. my phone) rather than from the PC where the RC Manager application is installed at home. Many thanks in advance for considering my suggestion. thanks

best regards, Eric
