I have a fantom 88 key and have a number of scenes setup. Playing from the keyboard they sound as expected with the tones overlayed but when I play them with midi, only the first tone is played instead of the entire scene. Ideas?
Thanks
fantom only playing first tone over midi
Re: fantom only playing first tone over midi
Hi!
If you're sending MIDI messages from a external sequencer/controller to Fantom, by default, Fantom's scene set each zone, listen to a different MIDI Channel (zone 1 listen channel 1, zone 2 listen channel 2 and so forth).
Depending what do you wish to get, (i mind you want to listen all active zones to the same note, simultaneously) you can set each Fantom zone to listen the same MIDI Channel ( for example channel #1). In this case, thru Menu->zone edit->Receive MIDI Channel you set each zone to listen the same channel.
Best regards,
Flavio

Re: fantom only playing first tone over midi
Flavio, thanks, makes sense and I'll try it.
What's interesting is if I plug my Deepmind12 synth into it, it plays all the tones from the scene and the deepmind looks like it is sending just channel 1.
Thanks again,
Jerry
