Has the pha50 in the Fantom the exact same touch as the RD2000 and FP90?
Does it suffice for you for playing non piano sounds like synths and organs?

Re: Fantom 8 keys
I never played a piano keyboard before and after 3 month of playing the Fantom 8 I will never play a synth action keyboard again.

If it has the same keys and weighting as th e RD2000 i can understand why..
Sadly it does not answer this question..
Keyfeel is often a personal thing..

Re: Fantom 8 keys
It's supposed to an identical keybed with added aftertouch... I had an older-gen PHA keyboard (PHA3 on a RD700NX) and the PHA50 on the Fantom 8 feels a little different, but the overall experience is the same. It even includes the same piano-style escapement other PHA50 boards have.
Whether that works for you for non-piano sounds depends on which sounds and how you play them, e.g. to me, quick staccato chords generally don't feel good on weighted keys.
