Play a part individually, change between parts with a pedal

Hi!
Is there a possibility to play parts individually and change between them with a footpedal?
Like having piano on part 1 and playing the sound solely with both hands, then changing with a footpedal to part 2 having strings. Then continuing playing this sound and no other part would be playing.

Part Fade 2 will do this.



This can be assigned to the control pedal (not hold pedal), SL1/2, and X wheel 2. [Don't know why the pedal and wheel assignments are not symmetric.]
