MC 101 Slicer

Sorry this very noob question BUt does the MC 101 in his latest firmware Slice samples like the MC 707 ( apart from the different Displaying parameters? )

Which is curious considering the 707 has it....

Bringing up the sample chop issue.
Even if you use your ears you can't trim the sample according to sample start and sample end values. You cant even play the same sample loaded in RAM with different start and end values in various drum pads. The guys in Roland just dont want to allow proper sample chopping(even with a crippled workflow) in mc101 hoping that they will make you buy also the 707. They are completely wrong in my opinion because they just make users mad when they intentionally cripple functions that should have been there by default and are so easy to implement.

A basic slicer would be fantastic. The only thing needed after the amazing synth editing update

yes you can have multiple instance of the sample on drum part
