Note Force Legato please

Post by j00zerX »

Ok so I recorded a nice bass groove into the sequence.

I played legato as much as possible, but would now like to make notes stick, like note force legato in Logic Pro.

If not clear, an instruction shortcut so one note duration is stretched (applyed to an existing recording) right to the next one.

I understand this can be done with mono/legato mode somewhere (I am new to the 707) combined with the sustain, but how to apply such a funciton to the existing pattern?

Thank you!

I've only had the MC-101 a few days, but figuring out a trivial problem like LEGATO is not so easy. (This manual is confusing, BTW, software can be updated, but updating the manual seems beyond the company's power. So we are looking for everything in parts.) Now, regarding to LEGATO:
I came up with this idea; I turn on Legato, and then in PARTIALS PORTAMENTO SW ON, and then PORTAMENTO TIME to 1.
So far on a few sounds it has worked.
Cheers.
