When using Track 2 in Insert mode to make parallel FX on Drum Track 1, it working only when drum pads Out Assign - MFX. When Drum Track 1 has pads Out Assign -DRY, Track 2 in Insert mode does not add MFX to DRY pads inserted. It would be great if Track 2 in Insert mode will add FX to all of the pads (Out Assign - DRY and MFX) that inserted from Drum Track 1.

It would be good to have a blank measure at the end of real-time recording, this will prevent overlap from the last note to the beginning of the first and enable a flow to the loop. This is on my MC-303 and makes live note input much better and 100% successful. If they can implement this on a 1997 groovebox machine, why not now.

But, having a LoFi Reverb which is not processor intensive, in MFX would be a great addition.

Yes of course, but you cannot add a 2nd reverb on a single track. Imagine that you have a short master reverb but you want a lush and long reverb on a pads track. you can't

Some way of editing synth sounds (partials) directly from a connected PC without having to create them in a VST then export them to SD card and go through the whole import process on the MC101.

Just a window with UI that can update the current sound parameters on the device via a MIDI sysex or something like that.

Re. The four control knobs in the center...

At the moment there's one control knob for each track and four different modes (SOUND/FILTER/MOD/FX). We can select what each knob does to the track in each of the four modes.

I think it would be much better if the control knobs would only apply to the currently selected track. That way we could have four control knobs for the track in each of the modes. Sixteen controls altogether.

eg. When "FILTER" is selected the knobs could be (eg. for a TONE track) C1=CUTOFF, C2=RESONANCE, C3=ATTACK, C4=ENV DEPTH

That way I can change cutoff and resonance for the track using the control knobs when FILTER is selected.

When "FX" is selected the knobs could be C1=DELAY SEND, C2=REV SEND, C3=CHORUS:RATE, C3=CHORUS:DEPTH

etc.

How about a fast way to save the current project?

Even with the shortcut it's all these steps:
1) Press SHIFT+TEMPO
2) Press the VALUE knob to get past the file name input
3) Twist the VALUE knob to select "OK" at the "Write project?" prompt.
4) Press the VALUE knob to select that
5) Twist the VALUE knob to select "OK" at the "Overwrite?" prompt.
6) Press the VALUE knob to select that

Steps 3+4 are completely pointless.

Step 5 should default to "OK" - overwriting the existing file is the correct thing to do 99.999% of the time.

(Step 2 should maybe say "File name:" at the top of the screen, not "PROJECT" to remind people this is a file on the SD card)

This gives us a revised flow:
1) Press SHIFT+TEMPO
2) Press the VALUE knob to get past the file name input
3) Press the VALUE knob to select "OK" at the "Overwrite?" prompt.

Even better would be a bigger shortcut (eg. SHIFT+PLAY+TEMPO) that takes you directly to step 3 of that.

ie.
1) Press SHIFT+PLAY+TEMPO
2) Press the VALUE knob to select "OK" at "Overwrite file?" prompt.
