SMF fantom o6

hi, ive just updated my fantom o with os 1.02, which says an SMF has been added, can any one tell me how it works/to work it. does it work as badly implimented in the FA06 or does it streem from usb like the excerlent way it was done in the Di/stage. as i would like it to. i tried looking for a supplimentory manual on rolands website but couldnt find one. this could be a good feature for me if it works how i would like. any help on this would be greately appreciateed
