At time stamp 2:20 in this Roland video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tE0vSqs_Y_0&t=101s It shows the DAW moving from sliders. He has both assigns on (system assign) pushes up the sliders and you can see the sliders moving in the DAW. Granted that is a Fantom 6/7/8 and both assign 1 and 2 are buttons are on. But most of the software is identical for similar features. I pressed both assign 1 and Pan/level at the same time on Fantom 08 to get to assign 2. Dont know how to get to Both assign 1 and assign 2 at the same time if it is even possible.
I cant get this to work on my Fantom 08. I have tried toying around tons with the Shift-Assign type of screens, tried many midi CC messages but nothing working. I was thinking that some sort of CC might work with one of the assigns?
Is this feature just missing on the Fantom 0?
How do you get sliders to work w/ Ableton and Fantom 0?
Re: How do you get sliders to work w/ Ableton and Fantom 0?
I did get this to work by just mapping midi on assign 2 (sys)

Further follow up:
So the "real" solution to this is to press the daw key>select ableton> Press the ctrl button and the Assign button till they both light up. Now the Knobs and slider automap in ableton.
