Hi gang,
I had to send my Fantom-07 back, but a replacement is due in and I can't wait to work more on it.
Before I did so, I had tested the transpose feature. It worked as it should, but I was under the impression that it would transpose the whole patch only and if I moved to the next one, the transpose function would turn off/reset. Whoops... not the case. In fact, this can be problematic and be rather embarrassing if I perform and don't remember to turn it off by the next song. I hope that makes sense...? I couldn't find what to do in the manual about this situation.
In summary, what is the process to transpose these tones accordingly on the patch only and if I move to another one, it will return to the original (if not different) key? There's probably a way that's pretty easy without adjusting every single tone's programmed partials, but this keyboard a learning curve to me since I was so used to the Jupiter 80's seemingly simple process.
Thank you.

Re: transposing keys to patches only
You can transpose in the Zone Edit of a Scene, so just create a Scene with your single tone in Zone 1 and transpose it there. Then when you select the Scene it will be transposed but anything selected as a Singe Tone will be in the original key. I create a Scene for every song I do, no matter how simple or complicated. Then I use Scene Chain to put them in a set list so when I play live I just advance through the Scenes and I know that everything is the way I need it for that song.

I believe that like most key boards, the Transpose works on the keybed, not on the sounds themselves. This is normal behaviour.

Oooo!
That’s going to open up a whole bunch of opportunities for me.
Can the same thing be done to trigger the samples?
So could I use midi designer to trigger the samples on the FantomO?
Or is there an app that already does this?
If it can be done dose anyone know the system code to do it
Many thanks for the guidance and help
Thanks again
