Is it possible to load more than 16 Instruments?

Is it possible to load more than 16 Instruments?

In the past I worked on an mpc4000, I would load hundreds of programs into RAM.
I am trying to achieve this on the mv8000, but I cannot seem to load more that 16 patches into memory.

any suggestion on where to look in the manual for this information?

turn off the option to load in to the instrument bank, and just load instruments into the library.

mv has more ram then any mpc so it will load more instruments
its pretty much all about how you arrange youre banks/library
each bank/instrument has 99 slots x 16 times. its alot
plus midi A & B tracks for external instruments

Better check your facts before using your fingers.
The MPC4000 can use 512 just like the MV but has a much better management system for loaded sounds and access to those sounds.
It also had better MIDI routing as well as a more useful total mixer structure.
