Controlling the MV8000 via Midi - CC List

Post by Ricoche »

Two questions about either the MV8000 or MV8800.

1. When in Mute Pad Control, can you trigger the mutes on and off via midi? I don't think so, but thought I'd ask. Perhaps there is a sysex command.

2. Does anyone happen to have a more comprehensive list of CC parameters that the MV8000 can be controlled with? The midi implementation is rather sparse. I can control a few parameters like Attack and Release, but not delay or sustain. I also can't control muting of tracks or the pads as mentioned above. It appears the MV8000 midi implementation is worse than standard GM2. I'm using a GM2 control map with my A-300 Pro and it barely can control the MV-8000 or MV-8800 with basic CCs.

Of course the other way around, using the MV-8000 as a controller works fantastic.

Thanks!
