GM set

looking at buying a used mv 8000 is there a gm set for this I want to use it as backing tracks without connecting to external module any answers would be greatly appreciated thanks

The MV comes with a bunch of patches (drums, strings, basses, etc.). I don´t know if they are GM compatible, but since Roland has invented that standard I´d imagine they are.

If you can´t find the patches on the hard disk and don´t have the original CDs you can download them from this site.
