MV-8000 floppy drive

I am using the MV8000, but I am looking to upgrade the internal floppy to something that reads sd or compact flash. Has anyone done this successfully and where did you find the drives or components...

As for the floppy, there isn't another form of hardware to replace it. it's got a weird ribbon cable.
You can add a CF card reader but you won't be able to use the hard drive. The MV accepts one or the other but not both.

I did upgrade on my MV-8000. Removed floppy drive, and installed a Compact Flash to IDE adapter in the same location as floppy.
