Its been provided in Fantom S.,, I read some memebers decalring that it is not there, please cross check your equipment, before you all put up on the board

Re: grovve quantise it there in Fantom S
Togetit, thanks.
I'm waiting for my Fantom-S to ship, and I haven't seen it 'live' yet, so I ask everyone who already owns it about the features I'm interested in.
So, tell me please, is it like in old times - you can load two or four bars of a midi file into User Groove template?
Also, may I ask another question - is there a microscopic edit mode, with no graphic keys etc. but note positions, note names, velocity and gate values in NUMBERS?
Thanks very much and I hope you answer these two questions for me.

As I said in a previous post I'm curious where Togetit is finding the Groove Template that I seem to have missed.
Yes there is a well designed Microscope page in the sequencer section. You can view with or without the following info:
Note, Poly Aftertouch, Control change, Program change, Channel Aftertouch, Pitch Bend, Sys exc, Pattern call & Tune request. Each note includes numerical values for Position, Note velocity,Duration Beat, Duration Tick and Off Velocity.
I've had occasion to use it and It's quite helpful for editing. It does also have "Piano Roll" included on screen.

Do you mean that piano roll is combined with micro edit?
Or there is piano-roll-only screen and other micro edit with piano roll screen?
As I know that MC-909 has a piano roll mode, but also the micro mode with a bit more simple piano roll view as well.

You can toggle screens. One has a simple piano roll that also indicates velocity for each note on a bottom graph, with a split screen data area that will scroll along with the dial or inc / dec buttons.
Or you can go to a window that shows only data.

Re: grovve quantise it there in Fantom S
Togetit, can you tell us about this: is it possible, like in all previous Roland sequencers, to create custom Groove templates?
