I told you to use an MPK25 or 49...forget it...just use your GAIA SH-01 MIDI connected to a UM-2EX, and plug its USB port directly to the CCK, and save a lot of money !!IgorCristo wrote:I guess I'll pass my Gaia SH-01 then.....
I'm thinking about the Arturia 49 keys controller, so I can get the software also! =)
It's kind of hard to do business with this in Brazil, but I'll try! Thank you for helping me.
I've been playing around with my iPAD this weekend I'm controlling from ALL my Roland keyboards (Fantom Xa, PCR-500 and A800-PRO) with the UM-2EX in the middle.
Look for a UM-1EX which is even cheaper, and have similar features and characteristics.

Re: Connect iPad to MIDI keyboard
Too little too late! Already sent my Gaia SH-01 for a trade... I'm kind of happy with my decision. I think that some apps like Sunrizer sound better than the Gaia.
The other side of it, is that since I've got my V-Synth GT I've never used the Gaia for nothing besides controlling a DAW sometimes. I didn't want to spend money buying a cable that would solve the problem... the Arturia controller have aftertouch and looks 10 times better built.
Thank you for helping me!

Hi Paulo!
I'll get my Gaia back! I did regret my decision to trade him for a controller. He is very well built and have a lot of controls to use with the iPad.
Can you send me names of cables like this one you mentioned (in the picture) that would work with the iPad??
Thank you!

Look for the inexpensive HOSA MIDI/USB cables, or go for the Cakewalk UM-1EX or UM-2EX (I do have one of these)
Abraço,
Paulo

Yes it would work. Take a look to the spec's Line 3: standard OS based Driver mode...IgorCristo wrote:Do you think this will work like the ones you've listed?
