Thank you very much! I think I will love it, I research a lot about it and already read 70% of the user manual even before the JP80 arrives here! :)cello wrote:Cool! Congrats on your purchase - hope you enjoy the JP-80 as much as I do :)

But the review can be useful for you, MethodicMind! Try the following:MethodicMind wrote:amazing review! thank you!

1) Go to the review.
2) Scroll down to the audio examples and click to play them.
3) Close your eyes.
4) Wiggle your fingers in the air while imagining that you are playing your Jupiter-80.
It works for me!

I already can't wait for the JP80 (should arrive tomorrow!), if I do that I won't sleep this night! :DGrammar Wombat wrote:But the review can be useful for you, MethodicMind! Try the following:

Good review.. thanks Cello.. Man I like the demo... Roland Jupiter-80: 80ies Pads... where the violins come in.. unbelievable..
Re: New JP-80 review published...
Must make a correction (And sorry if I didn't make it clear) - I didn't write the review! Nor did I do the audio samples!
It was Peter Mahr who runs greatsynthesisers.com - I was just letting people know about it
Sorry for any confusion...

First let me thank you cello, for adding the link here at Roland Clan Forums. A good reason for me to join this community.
We are very glad that you like the review and the audio files. Thank all of you for the kind words!

Not as active here as other forums you may have been on but I guess you should think about quality and not quantity! lol :)

Very true! :-)
RCF seems to be a good place and reminds me on another forum we both know. One I liked some time ago ;-). At the moment I am reading much more here at RCF than posting. And of course I'd like to play on the Jupiter and write a new review in the remaining time.

Hi Paulo,
thank you very much! It is the biggest compliment you can pay to a reviewer's work.
I am glad you like the pads demo, which is my favourite as well.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for tonight. Although I doubt the Jupiter-80 fits the chimney. ;-)
