Information bouncing from Italy, confirmed,
not displayed on Korgforums after several hours:
Korg is recalling all 88s and 73s from Italian shops, promising to release them with a keyboard fix.
I know, I know. This is not a Korg-oriented forum, but...
... I just wanted to check how much time will it take to Korgfourms and the Fanboy gang to catch up with reality.

Confirmed by end users whom I know personally, and by shops where I buy. Not some exotic Californian studio with 32 Oasys and 5 kronoses.cello wrote:You say confirmed, but by whom?
stealthily recalling SOME is less expensive and more quiet than getting half the kronoses back anyway and having a reputation destroyed.cello wrote:Will obviously be a massive development if true. And hugely expensive for Korg...
Korg is not Toyota in financial terms: a total recall with explicit admission is out of question IMHO

Well, if it's true, that's fantastic news. Not quite as good as sorting the problem in the first place, but a way forward nevertheless.

That is NOT true. A distributor has no power to recall a product.
