Hi everybody !
Here is a bad news : soniccell is not recognized under Windows 8 64bits.
I don't know if Roland will do something.
If someone knows what to do, tell us ;-)
Soniccell's Win 8 driver
Re: Soniccell's Win 8 driver
I've found a solution, here, in this forum:
viewtopic.php?f=12&t=45796&p=263247&hil ... +8#p263247
http://laslow.net/2012/03/14/disable-dr ... windows-8/

ETA: SUCCESS!
I did as the above post suggested using bcdedit to disable checking of the driver installation signature and it worked.
- In a command prompt (or powershell) running as administrator...
bcdedit -set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON
- reboot
- Install the driver by right-clicking the .INF and selection 'Install'
- Allow the driver to install despite being unsigned
- Again in a command prompt (or powershell) running as administrator
bcdedit -set loadoptions ENABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING OFF
- reboot
Hope this helps,
Bill
Re: Soniccell's Win 8 driver
Hi Guys,
I am a french user of the sonic cell and I tried to install it on a new PC with Windows 8 64 bits.
I used the WIndows 7 64bits driver dowloaded from Roland website but I failed.
Then I run solve compatibility problem, and it sart installing but do not install teh driver properlly. SO it is not working.
Then I found your post using prompt command in admin mode and did it exactly how you suggested.
I went in files/and installed the .inf driver, it installed directly without asking about signature, and then when I connect my sonic cell teh driver is not working properly.
I was wondering if someone could send me the drvier you used in order to be sure that I use the right driver.
I can send my email
Thank you for your help!!
