juno 60 repair?

Post by colonelkeys »

I own (2) juno 60's which are in great cosmetic shape and played great a few years ago. Just pulled them out and now cannot get any consistent patches to come up. I always loved these boards and have a project they would be great on. Any ideas on how to fix or even better who might work on them here in the states? Thanks in advance for any help! Brandt.

Dead batteries possibly. I have a Juno-60 but have not had to replace the battery in it yet. I have replaced the battery in my Juno-106 and it was soldered to the board, a pain to change. I think the Juno-60 battery is also soldered to the board.

I suspect the internal memory battery too. Replace it with a CR2032 lithium cell. and an easy change battery holder so you wont have to de-solder it in another 30 years time :-)
